The safaris are in a private jeep that makes unique follows unique tracks and the Man himself, and his expert guides accompanies you on this magical trip.
Wildlife around Bera
With a mere population of 5000 people, few tourists, and a considerable number of leopards makes Bera an ideal destination for wild Life enthusiast and tourist alike. With human and Wild Life interaction to a minimum, the animals living in their natural habitat along side local villagers is a joy to watch.
Some of the biggest crocodiles are found in the lake. Other animals and birds that have been spotted here include: bluebulls, hyenas, greylag goose pelicans, grey headed canary flycatcher, Indian pond heron, black shouldered kite, black ibis, red throated flycatcher, Indian robin.
Mount Abu town, the only hill station in Rajasthan, is located at an elevation of 1,220 m (4,003 ft). The mountain is also home to several Hindu temples, including the Adhar Devi Temple (also known as Arbuda Devi Temple), carved out of solid rock; A Jain temple including Dilwara Temples, a complex of temples carved of white marble that was built between the 11th and 13th centuries AD.
Day 01 : Arrive in Bera, Evening Safari
Reach Bera by late afternoon and check into hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. Leave for leopard and wild life safari in the mystic countryside of Bera for 2-3 hours. (Wildlife like Hyena's, Nilgai might also be sighted). Return to Castle Bera, Dinner Served.
Day 2 : Bera - Morning Safari followed by visit to ancient temples
Leave for early morning wild life safari, crocodiles, migratory bird watching and morning tea at Jawai Dam. Return to Castle Bera.
Day 3: Bera - Discover nearby villages followed by a visit to ancient temples. Evening Safari
Your Host : Thakur Jangjeet Singh was the last of the Thakurs, who had Judicial powers and now has inherited a part of this castle known as The Rawala in the Region. He has only opened up four exclusive and tastefully designed rooms, so that his guests can literally have the place to themselves and enjoy a homely atmosphere and hospitality of the host himself.
The typical itinerary here is based on the Man (Maharaja) himself and his guides, suiting the local conditions.
If you are here for two nights, you will get three safaris. And if you are here for three nights you would get up to five safaris.
