Day 01: Arrive Yangon transfer
Welcome at Yangon International airport upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. After hotel check in, the rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 02: Yangon Sightseeing
Start our sightseeing tour in Yangon.
Visit beautiful Kandawgyi Lake then go to Sule Pagoda and downtown district with its many old colonial buildings still in use. Afternoon sightseeing includes the colossal reclining Buddha Chaukhtatkyi. We end the day with a visit to the awe inspiring Shwedagon Pagoda, perhaps the most beautiful pagoda complex in allAsia.

Day 03: Yangon/Bagan flight and sightseeing

Early morning transfer to fly to Bagan. Upon arrival begin our visit to one of Asia's most stunning archeological destinations with its more than 2.000 pagodas doting the plains along the legendary Ayerwaddy River, the bustling Nyaung Oo local market and the Wetkyi-in-Gubyaukgyi, a 13th century 'cave temple with fine wall paintings.
Afternoon sightseeing highlights Sulamani Temple, Dhammayangyi Temple, and Thatbyinnyu Temple which towers above other monuments of Bagan.

Day 04: Mt. Popa & Bagan Temples
Drive (about one hour ) through the Bagan countryside to Mt. Popa. Mt. Popa is famous for the abode of the Nats (Spirit Gods) and for its panoramic view of the local tropical region. On the way to Mt. Popa we will visit a local toddy palm farmer.
Afternoon see a small lacquer ware crafts shop in Phawsaw Village. Then ride by horse cart through some of Bagan's temple areas, monasteries and villages to reach an ideal site for sunset viewing atop a pagoda.

Day 05: Bagan/Mandalay flight, Amarapura & Mandalay sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel.
Take a morning flight to Mandalay, the last royal capital of the Burmese kingdom. On the way we stop at the ancient royal capital of Amarapura and enjoy a walk on U Bein Bridge which stretches 1.2 kilometers over Lake Taungtaman.
Our afternoon sightseeing is in Mandalay city and Mahamuni Pagoda with its sitting Buddha covered in gold leaf. A particular highlight is the beautiful Shwenandaw Monastery. Next we visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned as the World's largest book for its 729 stone slabs containing the entire Buddhist scriptures then go atop Mandalay Hill for a view over the city and Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 06: Mingun and Inwa sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel we board our private boat for a short and pleasant ride up the Ayerwaddy River to the ruins of the Mingun pagoda.
Lunch time break.
Visit to the small island of Inwa, founded in 1364 and lasting nearly 400 years as a royal capital. Inwa is accessible by a short ferry transfer and there are no cars on the island. We travel by pony cart down to see old palace walls, a watch tower and the Maha Aungmye Bonzan, which is a beautiful brick-and-stucco monastery and the elegant teakwood monastery Bagaya Kyaung, one of the few surviving teakwood monasteries in Myanmar where young monks still study. Return from Inwa and transfer into Mandalay city.

Day 07: Mandalay/Heho flight, drive to Pindaya and Inle Lake transfer

Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Heho. On arrival, drive to Pindaya which is noted for its extensive limestone caves filled with Buddha images. Driving through the Pao and Danu villages of Pwehla and Ji Chanzi. Inside the Pindaya Caves are nearly 8.000 Buddha images that have been placed. Made of various materials and of different sizes, the statues are situated in every nook and cranny throughout the many cave chambers. We also visit a Shan umbrella making family and see how the umbrellas are created from the bark of the mulberry tree. After lunch continue to Nyaung Shwe near Inle Lake where the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 08: Inle Lake tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we travel by small private boat on the lake, visiting the famous Paung Daw Oo pagoda, with its five famous Buddha images and the nearby Inpawkhone Village where, in houses on stilts, we see traditional silk weaving with hand looms and the processing of lotus blossoms as they are made into beautiful fabric. After our lunch time, visit traditional crafts-making such as blacksmithing, cheroot (local cigar) rolling, and boat making. Then enjoy a boat ride through the Kaylar village observing the many houses on stilts and the ways of life. See the floating gardens up close.

Day 09: Drive to Kalaw and sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning drive to the former British hill station of Kalwa. On the way visit the famous Phaungdaq Oo Pahoda home to 4 Budha images encrusted with gold leaf. At Kalwa see the Pinmgon Monastery and its 500 years old bamboo strip Budha. Soak up the atmosphere of the locat tribal markets.

Day 10: Inle Lake - Heho/Yangon flight and sightseeing

Flight back to Yangon.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Kabar Aye (the World Peace pagoda), Maha Pasana (the great cave for Buddhist synod) and the Botataung Pagoda where you can see many ancient Buddhist relics.
After lunch shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott's Market) built in 1926, filled with goods and handicrafts of Myanmar.
Later go to Chinatown where we can see interesting and exotic products for sale.
Overnight in Yangon

Day 11: Yangon departure
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free time at leisure until your International flight time.
