Tiger Safaris and Erotic Temples

Day 1: Depart England for your flight to Bombay

Day 2: Arrive in Bombay to connect your flight to Nagpur.

Met on arrival and transfer by private car to hotel Kipling Court near Pench National Park.

The Pench National Park is located in northwestern Maharastra in India, about 70 km from the city of Nagpur. Spread over an area of 275 km², 10% area of the park is in Maharastra rest 90% of area is in the neighbouring state of Madhya Pradesh.

The vegetation here is typical of the southern tropical deciduous forest. The common animals which can be seen are the gaur, sambhars, blue bulls, macaque, langur, wild boar, bears and wild dogs and the Park is well-known for its deers and leopards.

A few tigers and civets can also be spotted sometimes. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Pench
Morning safari, afternoon safari. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Pench
Morning safari, afternoon safari. Overnight at Hotel.  

Day 5: Pench- Kanha
After breakfast drive to Kanha National Park, another Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, India. Kanha National Park was created on 1 June 1955. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog.Arrive & check in at hotel. Afternoon safari and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Khana- Bandhavgarh
Morning safari and after breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh National Park which is one of the popular national parks in India located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968 with an area of 105 km.The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is relatively high. The possibility of spotting Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Leopard and Tiger is very good. The park is also densely populated with animals like the Chital (Spotted Deer), Sambar, Barking Deer, Nilgai (Blue Bull), Chowsingha (Four Horned Antelope) and is rich in bird life. Afternoon game drives into the sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 7: Bandhavgarh
Morning safari, afternoon safari. Overnight at Hotel. 

Day 8:  Bandhavgarh- Khajuraho
Morning drive to Khajuraho which is a village in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, located in Chhatarpur District, about 385 miles (620 kilometres) southeast of Delhi, the capital city of India.

The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.One of the most popular tourist destinations in India, Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture.The Khajuraho temples were built over a span of a hundred years, from 950 to 1050.

Today, the temples serve as fine examples of Indian architectural styles that have gained popularity due to their explicit depiction of the traditional way of sexual life during medieval times.

Afternoon visit the Eastern group of temples which consists of 3 Hindu and 3 Jain temples, their proximity attests to the religious tolerance of the times in general and of the Chandela rulers in particular. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 9:  Khajuraho – Delhi
After breakfast visit a few more temples. Later transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Arrive & transfer to hotel.

Day 10: Delhi - England
Transfer to Airport to catch your flight to England

End of the tour.

Itinerary 2- Beach Break, Tiger Safaris and Erotic Temples

Day 1: Depart Gatwick or Manchester to Goa

Day2,3,4: Soak up the sun on the palm fringed beaches of Goa

Day 5: Depart Goa for your flight to Nagpur via Bombay. Met on arrival and transfer by private car to hotel Kipling Court near Pench National Park.

Rest remains the same from Day 2 in Itinerary 1.
