Day 1 : Goa : On arrival you will be transferred by road to the Hotel in Goa.After check-in you are free for independent activities.Overngith at the Hotel
Day 1 till Day 3 in Goa : Rest & Relax in Goa
Day 4 : Goa / Calicut : Evening you will be transferred to Madgoa Railway station 01hr before your train to Calicut.Overnight on the train (Train journey is approximately 11hrs and fare is based on 3 Tier AC Sleeper Class).
Day 5 : Calicut / Wayanad : On arrival you will be transferred by road to the Hotel in Wayanad.After check-in you are free for independent activities.Overnight at the Hotel.
Wayanad : Wayanad means ‘the land of swamos’ and the platau (650m to 900m) is swampy, particularly in the lower gullies. Grasses and bamboo proliferate in the swampland while there’s moist deciduous forest with teak in the plateau. It is home to a range of fauna including elephants (seasonal), gaur, sambar, chital and barking deer. Many types of monkeys inhabit the region and there have been sightings of the slender loris.
Day 6 : Wayanad : After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Wayanad which includes visit to Edakkal Caves, Soochippara waterfalls, Thriunelli Temple and Pookod Lake.Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Edakkal caves : When you arrive within the caves you’ll be surrounded by huge rocks creating walls and a roof some 20m high. Drawings are sculptured into the walls. The images, somewhat. Aztec-like, are formed by geometric lines. The name, Edakkal, means between rocks and once within the cave the appropriateness of the name is evident. Three large rocks, set apart at the bottom, but meeting at the top, create the space that forms the cave. A very narrow but long vertical gap in the rocks enables views across the forest and ghats.
Pookote Lake : This small and peaceful lake is nestled within the hills of the ghats. You can walk around its forested perimeter or row across its still waters, sections of which are covered in lotus.
Day 7 : Wayanad : Early morning proceed for the jeep safari. Afternoon you are free for independent activities.Overnight at the Hotel
Day 8 : Wayanad / Guruvayur : Morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to the Hotel in Guruvayur. On arrival check in at Hotel.Ater check in visit the Temple city (* Please note:- Non - Hindus are not allowed to visit inside the Temple *) and numerical painting School. Overnight at the hotel.
*Guruvayur Sree Krishna Swamy Temple : It is among India's most important pilgrimage centres and is also known as the Dwaraka of the South. Tradition has it that the temple was created by Guru-the preceptor of the Devas, and Vayu-the Lord of the Winds.The temple dates back to the 16th century is dedicated to Krishna known here as Guruvayurappan or the Lord of Guruvayur, and the idol is said to have been worshipped by Lord Brahma himself at Dwaraka. It is at this temple that Melpatur Narayan Bhattathiri composed his well-known Sanskrit devotional poem 'Narayaneeyam'.
Day 9 : Guruvayur / Alleppey : Morning after breakfast you will proceed for a visit to the Elephant Training Centre and then you will be transferred by road to Alleppey to board the House Boat.After check-in you are free for independent activities.
Day 10 : Alleppey / Cochin : After breakfast drive to Cochin, on arrival check in at Hotel, after check-in you are free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 : Cochin : After breakfast proceed half day tour of Cochin, city tour that includes the St. Francis's Church, Which is the oldest European church in India. Walk to the Chinese Fishing nets. Visit the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1557. Drive to the Jewish Synagogue built in 1568 and is the oldest in the Commonwealth. Walk around Jew town to see the antique shops. After city-tour back to hotel. And again, in the evening (Option to) visit local Cultural Centre for a performance of Kathakali, Kerala's traditional dance/art form. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Cochin / Goa : After Check-out from the Hotel you will be transferred to Ernakulam Railway Station for your train to Goa.Overnight on the train.(Train journey is approximately 11hrs and fare is based on 3 Tier AC Sleeper Class).
Day 13 : Goa : On arrival you will be transferred to the Hotel in Goa.Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 14 : Goa : You are free for independent activities.
Day 15 : Morning after breakfast you will be transferred Airport 3hrs before the departure of your flight to London.
