North Goa

North Goa is best known and loved for its golden beaches, palm trees, paddy fields and bustling villages with major development taken place in recent years. The most loved beaches in the north are Vagator, Anjuna, Baga, Calangute, Candolim & Sinquerim. There has been a huge growth of tourism in this area with the opening up of heritage properties, guesthouses, craft shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It is now the most happening  place in Goa.One must not miss the flea market in Anujna & Arpora on Wednesdays and Saturdays respectively.

The nearest town Mapusa is famous for its colourful Friday market. A must visit is to the Fort Aguada and the lighthouse in its vicinity, which guides the ship carrying its voyage in the Arabian Sea. The accommodation available here varies from basic to 5* hotels.
