Day 1
Transfer from your hotel to Margoa Railway Station to catch the Rajdhani Express (air conditioned) to Kota. Experience its best and journey through some spectacular landscapes on the way. Enjoy Indian rail food. Overnight on the train.

Day 2
Arrive at Kota railway station in the morning and take a sightseeing tour of Kota visiting the many forts, palaces, museums and temples of past centuries still standing in all their glory.Travel to Bundi the once capital of Kota and visit the impressiveBundi Fort with its intricate paintings and murals.Lunch in Bundi before travelling onwards to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, check into Clark Hotel or similar. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3
After an early breakfast, drive 10km outside the city to the fortified palace of the Rajput Empire.An ascent atop a gaily-caparisoned elephant provides a flavour of royal experience.
The decor in the various Royal Halls features intricate ivory work, exquisite wall paintings and shards of mirror and coloured glass.Returning from the Amber Fort, tour Jaipur, the 'Pink City',
which reveals an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Moghul culture. this is witnessed at the City Palace Museum, with its collection of Royal wardrobes, carpets, an armoury of of weapons and miniature paintings of court and battle scenes. On to Jantar Mantar,an observatory containing instruments which identify the position and movement of the planets and stars. Then a brief stop outside Hawa Mahal, the 'Palace of Winds', a five storied wonder with a spectacular pyramid facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. PM at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
After an early breakfast, depart by road for Agra (220km) enroute visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, approximately 45km away. Almost perfectly preserved and fusing Hindi and Muslim artistic traditions, Fatehpur Sikri radiates an atmosphere of startling beauty and majesty.

Arrive in Agra in time for lunch (payable locally). An afternoon tour of Agra includes the opulent Agra Fort, a testimony of the rise and fall of the Imperial Moghul Empire. The fort contains many palaces, courtyards and gardens and allows a glimpse of the Taj Mahal in the distance. Then proceed to the Taj Mahal itself for a look at the white marble grandeur of the world's most romantic piece of architecture, a declaration of Shah Jahan'slove for his wife, and a further symbol of the might of the Moghul Empire which ruled India. Check in at Hotel Clarks Shiraz. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

Option 1
- Mathura to Mumbai by train and than transfer to the airport and a flight back to Goa. The price is £369 per person.

Option 2 - After breakfast, transfer to Jhansi by train and then onto Khajuraho by car. Visit the erotic temples. Overnight in Khajuraho. Happy Dreams. After breakfast transfer to Jhansi to catch the train to Mumbai. Overnight on the train. On arrival in Mumbai, transfer to domestic airport for your onward flight to Goa. For clients going back to Goa by the Rajdain Express, the price will be £485.

Option 3 - After breakfast transfer to Dehli and check into Clarks Hotel. PM sightseeing of Dehli. Overnight at the hotel. Next day transfer for flight to Goa.
